As an artist, I work to recreate what I see and experience beneath the surface of the waves, the real and the imagined. It's important to me that I capture the tone of the different locations which inspire each piece; the pacific northwest, my beautiful home, has a different feel and look than my more tropical pieces, inspired by my explorations in Hawaii. The sea has always felt inviting to me; It is myhome away from home. So whichever pieces call to my viewers and collectors, I hope they bring feelings of home, adventure, or both.
